CYKLONÁREZ – HIGH 5

Who would believe it? After a three-year hiatus, we are entering the fifth year of the extreme winter MTB race in the bosom of the Low Tatras, where we will dust off legends like “Chernobyl” or “Brother of Everest”. Come and get to the bottom of your strength and abilities for an event where opponents become friends.

We are moving the date
January is starting to be an unstable month in terms of snow, and we want a lot of it. Therefore, we are moving the event date to the second weekend of February, February 9-10, 2024.

Night prologue
Of course! Can it get any harder and more fun? It can. Thirty minutes of cutting in the dark, after which you will want to cry, throw up and laugh. Here you will understand why there is so much talk about this race.

Saturday race
No one can enter the Saturday race who has not completed the Friday prologue. To make matters worse, you start with a penalty based on your position from Friday. It was always a ride on forest roads, such a beautiful classic. You will have a nice ride even now, no worries about that, but prepare for new places compared to which “Everest” is just a walk through paradise.

After party
You don’t go home from Cyklonárez after finishing. You will experience something new, you will overcome yourself, and whether you successfully reach your destination or fall down on the route, it will be something you will talk about for a long time. On Saturday evening, we’ll have dinner, an evaluation and dance the night away with “Hudba z Marsu” band.

Registration
We will provide more information and the registration itself on November 1 at 20:00
There are 120 free places for competitors + of course, you can bring children for skiing or sledding on a small lift right in the settlement.

Starting fee

EUR 99 is the race entry fee and includes:
– chip for measuring time
– start number with name
– Friday dinner
– Saturday lunch
– entrance to the after party
– souvenirs

EUR 142 will be a package with tourist accommodation and includes
– everything in the package for 99 euros plus
– full board (Saturday and Sunday breakfast + Saturday dinner)
– accommodation in tourist standard (rooms 2-4 people) showers and toilets (new) common for several rooms

EUR 147 package with accommodation in an apartment
– the package includes everything that comes before, only the accommodation is of a higher standard (ideal if you go with family or friends)

This year, payment of the entry fee will take place at the same time as registration on the website. Registration will be open throughout November, but if places are sold out earlier, it will be closed. It will not be possible to register on the spot – but it never was.
